Indoor Antheriums

Question from Debbie:

Hopefully you know about indoor plants as well…. I am sure you do!!! 😉   I have two antheriums that were beautiful but they are becoming smaller and smaller now 🙁 I have each sitting in the bathrooms, thinking the humidity would be good for them. They each keeping getting brown on the tip end edges of the leaves and one has brown spots on the leaves… I sat one by the window to receive more sunlight but not direct; this seem to help a bit …  help!!!

Answer from Pat:

Anthuriums are pretty plants to purchase and use as long as they look good. They will not survive and bloom long term in the house. After the plant is no longer looking good, toss it out and buy another. Think of anthuriums as long-lasting cut flowers.
